OnyxBot has no ticket on/off switch, and it does not need one. Nothing appears in your server until you publish a panel. Until then, OnyxBot is a channel-answering AI and nothing else.
That means a server with no panel is already running AI only. You do not have to turn anything off to get there.
Running AI only, on purpose
Plenty of servers want the AI without the ticket system, usually because they already run another ticket bot. That setup works today:
- Invite OnyxBot and connect a knowledge source.
- Pick the channels it should watch on AI, then Configuration. See controlling where OnyxBot responds.
- Do not publish a panel.
OnyxBot answers questions in the channels you picked. Members never see a ticket button, because there is no panel for them to click.
Turning tickets off after you have published
Delete the panel in the dashboard, then delete its message in Discord. Both steps matter: deleting the panel stops the buttons working, and deleting the message stops members clicking a button that no longer does anything.
Your data stays put. Existing tickets, transcripts, and stats stay in the dashboard exactly as they were, and publishing a new panel later picks up where you left off.
What the ticket system gives you when you publish

/ticketstaff commands: close, claim, priority, and more. - Panels and categories you build and publish from the dashboard.
The AI and the ticket system are independent. Run either one, or both, and moving between them never loses data.
