The ticket system switch

Getting Started

The ticket system switch

Tickets are on by default: they are the product. Nothing appears in your server until you publish a panel, so being "on" costs nothing; it just means you are one step (publishing a panel) away from a working support desk.

The master switch

Tickets, then Panels has the master switch at the top. Turn it off to run Onyx as a pure channel-answering AI, for example if you already run another ticket bot. Off means panels stop working and /ticket commands go quiet; your existing transcripts stay viewable in the dashboard.

What the ticket system gives you

  • The Inbox receives tickets live, with full transcripts.
  • The /ticket staff commands (close, claim, priority, and more).
  • Panels and categories, editable and publishable from the dashboard.

Living alongside another ticket bot

Onyx's ticket module and its AI answering are independent: run AI-only, tickets-only, or both. Flipping the switch either way never loses data.

Free plan limits

The Free plan includes the complete ticket lifecycle with 1 panel, 3 categories, and 30 days of transcript history. Pro removes all three limits.
