Member memory

AI & Knowledge

Member memory

Onyx can remember useful, support-relevant facts about individual members: their setup, their environment, issues already resolved. The point is simple: members should never have to repeat themselves.

Member memory is a Pro feature.

What gets remembered

Short, discrete facts learned from conversations, for example "runs the game on Linux" or "HWID issue resolved in June." Up to 15 facts per member; the oldest fall away as new ones arrive, and facts older than six months are pruned automatically.

How memory is used

Memory informs, it never initiates. Facts are quietly available to the AI when relevant to the current question, so it can skip the "what platform are you on?" round-trip. The AI never brings up past issues unprompted.

Memory is strictly per-server. Nothing learned in your server is ever visible anywhere else.

Your controls

Open AI, then Memory in the dashboard:

  • Search members by username or ID and expand anyone to read every stored fact.
  • Delete any single fact, or use Forget this member to wipe someone entirely.
  • The switch in the top bar turns the whole feature off for your server.
