OnyxBot can remember small facts about individual members: their setup, their platform, issues already solved. Members should never have to repeat themselves.

What gets remembered
Short, discrete facts learned from conversations, for example "runs the game on Linux" or "HWID issue resolved in June."
OnyxBot sorts them into two kinds. Durable facts describe the member: their setup, their platform, their plan. Situational facts describe something in flight: a live issue, something pending. Situational facts age out after about a month; durable ones stay until something replaces them.
Each member holds up to 15 facts. When that fills up, situational facts are dropped first, oldest first, so a burst of troubleshooting can never push out someone's actual profile.
How memory is used
Memory only helps the AI answer the question in front of it. Facts are quietly available when they are relevant, so it can skip the "what platform are you on?" round-trip. OnyxBot never brings up a member's past issues on its own.
Memory is strictly per-server. Nothing learned in your server is ever visible anywhere else.
Your controls
Open AI, then Memory in the dashboard:
- Search members by username or ID and expand anyone to read every stored fact.
- Delete any single fact, or use Forget this member to wipe someone entirely.
- The switch in the top bar turns the whole feature off for your server.
